Fibridge F6-1GT1GX series network management switch is a high-performance ethernet access equipment developed by Beijing Fibridge. It has 1 10/100/1000 mbps Ethernet interfaces and a 1000 mbps optical port. The fibridge device is built-in power module, you can choose 220V AC input or 12V DC input products. The F6 series is compact desktop design, small size, light weight, easy to place on desktop or in cabinet.

1-Port 1000M Fx + 1-Port 1000M Tx Media Converter Application

1. Connection between data centers.  Gigabit fiber media converter is used for high-speed data exchange and storage in and between data centers. 

2. Enterprise network upgrade. The enterprise network is upgraded to 1000M, to meet increasing demand of data transmission. 

3.Service provider. Internet service providers apply gigabit fiber media converter to provide high-speed internet access services. 

4.Campus and government network. Education and the government use gigabit media converters to construct high-speed and reliable internal telecommunication networks.

5.Industrial automation. In the industrial automation field, gigabit fiber media converter is used for high-speed data exchange between machine and control systems. 

6. IP Video surveillance. Gigabit media converter is easily used in signal transmission  of IP cameras.

1-Port 1000M Fx + 1-Port 1000M Tx Media Converter Installation

1. Take the gigabit fiber media converter out from its packing carton, examine the device, contact factory if there is damage. 

2. Connect the fiber patch cord or pigtail to two end’s gigabit fiber media converter’s optical port. 

3. Connect UPT cable from your network device’s gigabit RJ45 port to gigabit media converter’s RJ45 port. 

4. Plug power cable and turn on the device. The power LED will be on, and the other LEDs will flash in sequence of self-detection. After self-detection finish, gigabit media converter’s optical port and RJ45 port working status will be determined by their detection result.
