Introduction:

1. Overview

DVI-T/R Fiber Transceiver is consisted of DVI transmitter(DVI-T)and DVI receiver (DVI-R). DVI, Audio and RS232 signal are realized by a single core mode fiber. DVI analog video signal, Audio video signal and RS232 control signal have to fulfill the long distance transmission during the multimedia application system.

But when you use an ordinary cable for long distance transmission, it will always show the poor output signal, be easy of the interference, the image displayed appears the phenomenon of the vague, the tailing and color separation etc. At the same time, the distance of transmission is short, it can not meet the requirement of long distance transmission for the multimedia information issuing and so on, using the DVI-T/R fiber optical transceiver for transmitting, this kind of problem has been completely solved. The distance of transmission is from 1km to 100km. In the mean while, the fiber optical transceiver has the outstanding points with a little attenuation, high frequency bandwidth, strong anti-interference, high safety performance, small volume and light in weight etc., therefore, it has incomparable advantages in the respect of the special environment and the long distance transmission. In addition, DVI-T/R can transmit RS232 serial port signal in the same time, it is able to use for the LCD communication and also for the touch panel’s remote transmission. DVI Fiber transceiver is used in the multimedia system, which save the construction cost and easy for cable arrangement, and the target of high quality performance is also guaranteed.

DVI-T is fiber optical transmitter, DVI-R is fiber receiver, two devices are combined together, it can be realized the long distance transmission by DVI-T, DVI, DVI, Audio and RS232 signal through fiber optical cable for transmitting to DVI-R. This is especially suitable for the high definition video signal transmission in the train platform and the military practice.
